The development is designed in a traditional European features style, incorporating luxurious design elements that exude sophistication, style and comfort. The villa includes 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, each designed to provide maximum comfort and convenience for residents.
The villa features two large living areas, one being a grand double-height living area that creates an impressive sense of space and luxury, and another being a private leisure space that provides a more intimate setting for relaxation and entertainment. The common rooms are lavishly spaced to provide ample room for family gatherings and social events, while the bedrooms are designed to provide cozy spaces for privacy and comfort.
The kitchen features state-of-the-art appliances and includes a walk-in pantry that provides ample storage space. An exclusive Lounge and media room are also included, as well as a study area designed to encourage children to study and provide a full digital setup for work from home professionals.
The villa is designed to consume less electricity by placing all habitable rooms following the sun path, thereby reducing electricity consumption and providing maximum comfort throughout the day. In addition, we have retained most of the existing vegetation on the site and proposed to plant more native trees and bushes to maintain the natural micro-ecosystem, thereby creating a sustainable and eco-friendly living environment.
To provide maximum convenience and luxury for residents, the villa includes a two-car parking garage and a space allotment for a future ancillary dwelling development for rental, as well as a swimming pool for relaxation and entertainment.
Overall, our European-styled luxury villa development in Kellyville, New South Wales is designed to provide a luxurious and comfortable lifestyle for residents, with careful consideration for sustainability and environmental impact.
Designer's highlight
Developing a classical European-style villa in the midst of a well-established suburb like Kellyville requires a unique perspective and a willingness to unlearn and relearn architectural principles. As an architect, I embarked on a journey of rediscovery, immersing myself in the rich heritage and timeless elegance of European architecture.
Unlearning involved setting aside preconceived notions and embracing the essence of classical European design. I delved into the intricacies of architectural styles, proportions, and ornamental details that define the classical European aesthetic. This process enabled me to grasp the essence of elegance and sophistication that would be reflected in every aspect of the villa's design. Relearning became an essential part of the journey as I incorporated traditional European features into a contemporary context. I carefully studied the architectural elements such as columns, arches, and decorative detailing, and explored ways to reinterpret and adapt them to suit the modern lifestyle of Kellyville residents.
The unlearning and relearning process fostered a deep appreciation for the balance between tradition and innovation. Every decision, from the choice of materials to the layout and proportions, was guided by a desire to capture the spirit of classical European architecture while ensuring it harmonized with the existing suburban context.
The result is a classical European-style villa that seamlessly integrates into the well-grown suburb of Kellyville, paying homage to its rich heritage while offering a refined and luxurious living experience. The villa stands as a testament to the transformative power of unlearning and relearning, and the ability to create a harmonious blend of timeless elegance and contemporary living.
Future development plans for the project: The development is planned and will be executed in three stages, strategically planned based on the economic availability of the client and developer. In the initial stage (Stage 01), the existing 40-year-old brick building will be demolished, making way for the construction of the main dwelling. This new structure will be designed and built in accordance with the latest engineering and planning requirements, ensuring its compliance with modern standards of safety and functionality.
Moving on to Stage 02, the focus will shift to the construction of the ancillary dwelling. This additional living space will comprise two bedrooms, an open-plan kitchen, and a living area, spanning approximately 60 square meters. The design will prioritize a seamless flow between the different spaces, creating a harmonious and inviting atmosphere.
Finally, the third and final stage will encompass all the landscaping elements and the construction of a swimming pool. The outdoor area will be enhanced by the addition of an appealing dining space, featuring a wood fire oven that will add a touch of rustic charm. This outdoor haven will serve as a perfect spot for relaxation, entertaining guests, and indulging in culinary delights.
Throughout each stage of the development, careful attention will be paid to detail, ensuring that every aspect of the project aligns with the client's vision and meets the highest standards of craftsmanship. By proceeding in a phased approach, the development will gradually take shape, allowing for financial considerations to be accommodated without compromising on the quality and integrity of the final result.
